Uzbek citizens facing difficulties abroad will be able to seek assistance through Online Mahalla. Ambassadors will become personally involved where necessary, according to the presidential press service.

The instructions were issued at a labor-migration meeting on November 2. Local governors were tasked with supporting migrant workers' families.

The platform will also collect information on people seeking overseas employment, while authorities organize language and vocational training. The initiative combines support for existing migrants with preparation for future applicants.
