In the first ten days of September, an Uzbek delegation led by Energy Minister Sherzod Khodjayev is expected to visit Azerbaijan. This was reported by Spot, citing the press service of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Energy.

During the visit, negotiations are planned with Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) on implementing tasks set by the heads of the two states.

The ministry told the publication that cooperation with Azerbaijan could include raw material supplies, processing, production of finished goods, exchange of technological experience, and creation of sustainable logistics chains.

"For Uzbekistan, this will improve the reliability of domestic market supply and diversify supply sources, while for Azerbaijan it will expand its presence in the Central Asian market and develop long-term industrial cooperation," the Ministry of Energy stated.
