Azerbaijan and Ukraine discussed creating favorable conditions for launching new business initiatives. Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev wrote about this on social media following a meeting with the head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Yusif Abdullayev.
According to him, the meeting covered prospects for expanding Ukrainian-Azerbaijani economic cooperation, stepping up investment interaction and developing business contacts between representatives of the two countries' business communities.
"Particular attention was paid to attracting Azerbaijani investment into the Ukrainian economy, implementing joint investment projects, and creating favorable conditions for launching new business initiatives," he noted.
Husyev also noted that strengthening coordination between Ukrainian and Azerbaijani investors is an important area, in particular with the aim of more actively presenting the opportunities of the Ukrainian market and the prospects for Azerbaijani business participation in the reconstruction and development of Ukraine.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue interaction and joint work to expand the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the investment and trade-economic spheres.
"Ukraine highly values Azerbaijan's support and is interested in further deepening economic partnership, attracting Azerbaijani business to the reconstruction of Ukraine and implementing mutually beneficial investment projects," the ambassador emphasized.
