The draft 2027 budget of Azerbaijan's Unemployment Insurance Fund earmarks AZN 113 million for the self-employment programme, local media reported.
Total spending is projected at AZN 319.2 million. Other allocations include AZN 36 million for unemployment insurance benefits and AZN 27.3 million for vocational training.
Expected revenue of AZN 268.9 million would be supplemented by AZN 50.3 million in unused funds carried forward from earlier periods, matching planned expenditure. The self-employment allocation is a programme-wide budget envelope. It neither specifies an individual participant's assistance nor establishes an automatic entitlement for every applicant.
