A woman in Azerbaijan has been sentenced to six years and 11 months in prison for several offences, including taking jewellery worth AZN 107,820 from Yana Jewellery at Sea Breeze, according to Azerbaijani media reports.
The reports say she introduced herself as Jamila and requested delivery of two rings and a bracelet. During the meeting, she took the jewellery and left without paying while the employee was distracted.
According to the same reports, Nardaran Invest was fully compensated for the loss.
