Saudi Aramco may restore interrupted refining operations within days and is seeking to create alternative export routes. This was stated by Saudi Aramco President and CEO Amin Nasser.
According to him, the state oil company is exploring the possibility of creating "fourth and fifth routes" for oil exports in addition to the three main ones.
"Aramco is also considering expanding overseas storage, including in Japan, to strengthen its ability to withstand supply disruptions," he noted.
The TV channel notes that Saudi Aramco is facing increased attacks from Yemen's Houthis, who are also hindering the passage of Saudi vessels through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait — one of the key export routes in the Red Sea.
