Developing critical thinking skills, improving the quality of specialized business education for executives, and integrating regional capital markets are priority tasks for the countries of the region amid the rapid spread of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. This was stated by Jalal Gasimov, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Holding LLC, speaking at the CAMCA-2026 Regional Forum.

Gasimov emphasized that the active penetration of AI technologies is significantly transforming daily decision-making processes, but it also creates new threats stemming from excessive trust in machine-generated answers.

"The key challenge of our time is not a lack of fundamental knowledge, but a deficit of critical perception and professional expert assessment. People increasingly rely on outputs generated by AI, which often cannot grasp the full context or take into account accompanying circumstances. To ensure sustainable economic growth in the region, it is necessary to systematically develop these competencies, as well as to improve short-term business education programs that enable rapid adaptation to ongoing changes," the holding's head stated.

The second key area of interregional cooperation, according to Gasimov, should be financial integration and the development of capital markets.

"Practically no state in our region currently has a fully formed capital market. Uniting financial platforms, harmonizing disclosure requirements, and standardizing practices for interacting with investors would allow companies to reach a wider range of investors, and investors to simplify their presence in regional markets without having to go through multiple registration procedures," he emphasized.
