As of August 1 of this year, the overall nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against foreign currencies stood at 104.9 points.

According to calculations by FinFly.News, based on data from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this indicator rose by 1.4 points month-on-month and by 3.1 points year-on-year.

At the same time, as of August 1, the nominal effective exchange rate of the manat for the non-oil sector stood at 176.4 points, up 2.6 points from the previous month and 3.7 points year-on-year.

Furthermore, as of August 1, 2026, the overall real effective exchange rate of the manat stood at 116 points. This indicator increased by 0.8 points month-on-month and by 2.3 points year-on-year.

During the reporting period, the real effective exchange rate of the manat for the non-oil sector stood at 110.6 points, up 1.1 points month-on-month, while remaining unchanged year-on-year.
