At today's session of the Milli Majlis, a new chapter V-I proposed to the Law on Labour Pensions was put forward for discussion. It defines the category of persons entitled to a monthly pension supplement.
The amount of the monthly pension supplement is determined by the body (structure) designated by the relevant executive authority.
The change applies from 1 October 2026. The supplement paid to persons entitled to a monthly pension supplement is determined in accordance with the type of pension awarded. At the same time, persons entitled to various pension supplements may, at their request, be granted only one monthly pension supplement.
The bill was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
