Komfy opened an orthopaedic mattress plant in Agdam Industrial Park on November 7. Annual production capacity is 130,000 units.
The factory will make mattresses, spring systems and products for hotels. Roll-pack packaging compresses mattresses into rolls, reducing shipment volume. Sales are planned both domestically and abroad.
The project costs AZN 2.5 million, including AZN 700,000 in lending backed by a state guarantee from Azerbaijan's Business Development Fund. The facility is expected to provide 65 permanent jobs.
