Kazakhstan is currently not supplying oil via the Druzhba pipeline to Germany, but may resume pumping if agreements are reached with all parties. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan on August 16.
"Currently, supplies of Kazakh oil via the Atyrau-Samara-Druzhba pipeline route towards Germany are temporarily suspended due to technical infrastructure constraints on the transit side. If the existing infrastructure constraints are eliminated, supplies may be resumed," the ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry of Energy noted that since May 1, supplies have been carried out bypassing the pipeline due to technical capabilities. The Kazakh ministry stated that they are ready to return to the format of pumping via Druzhba if agreements are formalized in the established order.
