Fighting between US and Iranian forces in the Strait of Hormuz is continuing, according to a statement from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
"The war is still ongoing, every day and night in the Strait of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and other regions. Both sides are taking losses," the military said.
The IRGC again stressed that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and that US claims of ensuring shipping along the route are false.
In the context of the fighting, it was noted that Iranian forces are not experiencing a shortage of weapons: "It is the enemy that has a shortage; its interceptor missiles are exhausted, and it cannot conduct its operations as it did before."
