Iran has conveyed seven conditions to the American side through intermediaries, on which the opening of the Strait of Hormuz depends. This was reported by the Tasnim news agency, citing a source.
"Iran has conveyed to the American side through intermediaries seven conditions for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and until these seven conditions, approved by the highest authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, are fulfilled, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed. Thus, the agreement between Iran and Oman does not mean the opening of the Strait of Hormuz," the agency's source said.
According to the source, the opening of the strait depends entirely on Washington's actions.
It was previously reported that Tehran and Muscat had reached an agreement on managing the Strait of Hormuz after it reopens.
