Azerbaijan plans approximately AZN 280.6 million for insurance benefits in 2027, according to the State Social Protection Fund.
Local media reporting the draft breakdown put childbirth benefits at AZN 84 million, maternity benefits at AZN 77.34 million and temporary disability payments at AZN 47.38 million. Funeral and childcare benefits account for AZN 50.5 million and AZN 21.39 million respectively.
The overall allocation is about AZN 77.1 million above the approved 2026 figure. These are proposed aggregate expenditure envelopes. They do not, on their own, establish a new payment amount for each recipient.
