The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has presented an updated forecast for Azerbaijan's GDP growth. According to the World Economic Outlook report, the country's economy will grow by 2.3% in 2027, while growth in 2026 will be 1.7%.
In the April version of the report, the IMF projected Azerbaijan's GDP growth at 2.2% in 2026 and 2.5% in 2027. Thus, the estimates for 2026 have been revised downward, and those for 2027 have also been lowered.
According to the fund's estimates, the country's GDP growth in 2025 was 1.4%.
