The Russian government has extended until September 30, 2026, the temporary ban on exports of certain types of fuel by direct producers, according to Russian media reports.

The restriction applies to diesel fuel, marine fuel, and gas oils exported from Russia directly by producers. The decision was made to maintain a stable situation on the domestic fuel market.

The restriction will be in effect until September 30, 2026, inclusive.

The government reminded that the general ban on fuel exports is in effect in Russia until January 31, 2027. However, for direct producers of diesel and marine fuel, as well as gas oils, the restriction was in effect until August 31, 2026.
