Azerbaijan’s non-oil and gas exports, excluding non-monetary gold, rose 20.5% in January-September. Economy Ministry adviser Huseyn Huseynov announced the figure at Baku’s intercultural dialogue forum on October 27.
Non-oil and gas industries accounted for more than 70% of GDP. He linked the sector’s development to business-environment reforms and international cooperation.
The gold exclusion matters: this is a specific export grouping, not total national exports. The announcement did not provide its absolute value or a product-level breakdown of growth.
