The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) will provide Tajikistan with a $200 million loan to support the state budget.

The corresponding agreement was signed in Dushanbe by Tajikistan's Minister of Finance Faiziddin Qahhorzoda and EFSD Head Yaroslav Mandron, the press service of the republic's Ministry of Finance reported.

The loan will be provided in three tranches: $100 million in the first tranche and $50 million each in the second and third tranches.

The funds are planned to be used to maintain the sustainability of public finances and fulfill social obligations.
