Azerbaijan budget committee to discuss 2027 draft on November 4

The Azerbaijani parliament's economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship committee will consider the 2027 state budget draft on November 4, Azerbaijani media reported.

The proposal projects revenue of AZN 39.254 billion and spending of AZN 42.4 billion, leaving a gap of AZN 3.146 billion.

Major spending areas include the economy, defense, education, social protection and healthcare. Committee consideration is a stage in the legislative process, rather than final approval of the budget.
