Bank Respublika has signed a $40 million loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank to support small businesses and agriculture in Azerbaijan’s regions, according to the announcement.
The funding will cover agricultural production, processing and trade. Women-led businesses, drip irrigation and crops adapted to different weather conditions are among the stated priorities.
The bank plans to distribute financing through its regional branch network. Interest rates and lending terms for end borrowers were not disclosed.
