Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov received David Allen, the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Armenia, who was on a visit to Baku. Amy Carlon, the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Azerbaijan, also participated in the meeting.
The sides discussed issues related to the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, advancing the peace process, ensuring long-term and sustainable peace, as well as strengthening stability and security in the region.
They also reviewed the outcomes of Elnur Mammadov's visit to the United States on the anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit and the trilateral declaration signed there. An exchange of views took place on the implementation of the 'Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity' (TRIPP) and on the establishment of the TRIPP Development Company, which will oversee the construction of infrastructure along the route.
Additionally, the sides considered prospects for cooperation on the bilateral agenda between Azerbaijan and the United States and the areas reflected in the Charter on Strategic Partnership.
