In Azerbaijan, the formation of a healthy and fair competitive environment between banks and payment market participants (electronic money organizations and payment organizations - fintechs) has been discussed.
This issue was discussed at the next meeting of the Joint Committee of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) and the Azerbaijan Fintech Association (AzFina).
During the meeting, proposals and positions of participants from both markets were heard, and an exchange of views took place.
The parties emphasized the importance of developing interaction between the banking and fintech ecosystems and continuing joint discussion of existing issues.
