According to the statistical bulletin published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), in July of this year, the number of transactions on Visa payment cards issued by resident financial institutions (as well as payment cards of the statistical unit) amounted to 181.695 million units, and the volume of operations - 8.994 billion manats.
According to FinFly.News calculations based on regulator data, compared to the same period last year, the number of transactions increased by 51.336 million, or 39.4%, and the volume of operations - by 1.338 billion manats, or 17.5%.
According to CBA data, the number of transactions on Visa cards issued by non-resident financial organizations amounted to 1.114 million, and the volume of operations - 89.7 million manats.
