The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has amended the "List of documents for determining the right of individuals to tax benefits when calculating tax withheld from wages," approved by a resolution dated January 4, 2001.
The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
According to the resolution, to receive the benefit, parents, widows (widowers), and children of deminers who died as a result of an accident caused by the detonation of explosives during demining, or who died from injuries sustained during demining, must provide a certificate from the Mine Action Agency, from the local branch of the State Social Protection Fund or a DOST center, as well as from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State Border Service.
