Azerbaijan’s average monthly labour pension is projected at AZN 639 for 2027, local media reported, citing budget materials presented during parliamentary committee discussions on November 4.
The comparison is with an expected 2026 average of AZN 594.4. The implied increase is AZN 44.6, or about 7.5%. It is an estimate for the average payment, not a uniform increase announced for each pensioner.
Proposed spending on labour pensions totals AZN 8.669 billion, roughly AZN 676.6 million above the approved figure for 2026. Parliament is considering the draft state budget.
