Azerbaijan has unilaterally lifted all transit restrictions on Armenia. This is stated in a joint statement by the United States, Armenia, and Azerbaijan on the occasion of the first anniversary of the peace summit at the White House.

"In the spirit of the White House peace summit, Azerbaijan has unilaterally lifted all transit restrictions on Armenia," the statement reads.

It is noted that over the past year, about 60,000 tons of cargo were transported through Azerbaijan to and from Armenia. In addition, Azerbaijan supplied Armenia with 20,000 tons of petroleum products.

"The two countries continue to work on increasing bilateral trade volumes," the statement says.
