Azerbaijan has introduced new state fees for the registration of seed market operators engaged in seed production, as well as for the issuance of certificates confirming the varietal and sowing qualities of seeds.

As reported by FinFly.News, this is reflected in an amendment to the Law "On State Duty," the decree on the application of which was signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the law, a state fee of 50 manats will be charged for issuing an extract from the information system of the body (structure) determined by the relevant executive authority in the field of selection and seed production, 10 manats for issuing a duplicate of such an extract, and 25 manats per document for issuing a certificate confirming the varietal and sowing qualities of seeds.
