In Azerbaijan, in January-August 2026, 16 insurance companies collected 1 billion 116 million manats in insurance premiums, which is 6.4% more compared to the same period last year.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, during the reporting period, the amount of payouts made by insurance companies amounted to 773.2 million manats, which is 28.1% more year-on-year.
Over the 8 months, for every 100 manats of insurance premiums collected in the insurance market, 69.3 manats were paid out. In the same period last year, this figure was 57.6 manats.
