Azerbaijan exported 24,231.8 kg of gold (gold in other semi-manufactured forms - bars, wire and profiles, plates, sheets, strips or foils thicker than 0.15 mm excluding any backing / gold in other unwrought forms, not for coinage) worth $3 billion 670 million 632 thousand in January-June 2026.

According to the State Statistics Committee, this is 25.5 times more in value and 12.4 times more in volume compared to the same period of 2025.

Azerbaijan sold 21,902 kg of products worth $3 billion 468 million 462 thousand to the UK, and 2,329.8 kg (+18.9%) worth $202 million 169 thousand (up 40.4% year-on-year) to Switzerland.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 91.5 kg (-99.7%) of gold worth $15 million 270 thousand (-99.5%) from abroad.

Azerbaijan purchased gold from Turkey - 72.4 kg (-93.5%) worth $12 million 405 thousand (-87.5%), from Switzerland - 19 kg (-98.7%) worth $2 million 785 thousand (-98%), and from the United Arab Emirates - 0.1 kg worth $80 thousand (no supplies in the previous year).

Last year, Azerbaijan sold gold only to Switzerland. 4,522 kg of gold worth $326.2 million were supplied to that country, which is 6% and 54% more than the previous year, respectively.
