In January–June of this year, Azerbaijan exported 64.669 million kWh of electricity to Russia. According to the State Statistics Committee, revenue from these exports amounted to $2.920 million.

Electricity exports to Russia increased by 3.559 million kWh, or 5.8%, in physical volume compared with the same months of 2025, and by $205,000, or 7.5%, in value terms.

At the same time, in the first six months of 2026, Azerbaijan imported 38.057 million kWh of electricity from Russia worth $1.515 million. Compared with the same period last year, this figure was up by $95,000, or 6.7%, in value terms, but down by 3.484 million kWh, or 8.4%, in physical volume.
