Azerbaijan and Germany discussed effective partnership in the energy sector, as well as steps to be taken to support cooperation in industry and technology. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
The relevant discussions took place at a meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli and a representative of Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Gerlind Heckmann.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on effective partnership in the energy sector, including steps to be taken to support cooperation in industry and technology, as well as on the coordination of initiatives discussed in this area.
The holding of meetings of the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council and the German-Azerbaijani High-Level Working Group on Trade and Investment, as well as other agenda items, were discussed.
