A bank loan of nearly AZN 4.7 million covered about 53% of the cost of ASMC’s first phase in Agdam. FinFly calculated the share from the official project figures: AZN 8.8 million for phase one and AZN 24.9 million overall.
Most investment is allocated to expansion
Phase two is budgeted at AZN 16.1 million, approximately 64.7% of the total. This represents planned expansion rather than capacity already commissioned.
Azerbaijan’s Business Development Fund subsidises the first-phase loan. Subsidised borrowing reduces financing costs; it does not make the principal a grant.
Capacity utilisation and sales will be the next measures of performance. Commissioning establishes that production has started, but does not establish how much output construction customers have purchased.
