The groundbreaking ceremony for the TRIPP ("Trump Route") project may take place in early 2027. This was stated by Armenian Ambassador to the US Narek Mkrtchyan during a briefing.
According to the diplomat, the program consists of many levels, and necessary research is currently being conducted on it.
"We have passed all stages, numerous delegations from our side have visited Washington, various interagency meetings have been held in Washington, and now the program has matured and reached the stage of practical implementation. We think that the groundbreaking ceremony can be held in early next year," Mkrtchyan noted.
He added that the implementation of the project requires considerable time for preparation, including the development of design and estimate documentation.
