Azerbaijan's draft 2027 state budget allocates AZN 1,379,487,512, or approximately AZN 1.38 billion, to agriculture, according to the bill published by parliament.
The section includes about AZN 800.9 million for agricultural activities, AZN 477 million for land reclamation and irrigation, and AZN 53.3 million for veterinary activities. Fisheries receive approximately AZN 5 million and other activities AZN 43.4 million.
These components form the sector total and must not be added to it again. They are proposed appropriations for the coming year, not expenditure already incurred or an amount entirely payable to farmers as subsidies.
