Discussions have been held at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) regarding the development of regulatory legal acts in the field of crypto assets.
According to the regulator's press service, the discussions took place during a meeting between CBA Deputy Chairman Vusal Khalilov and representatives of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association.
The parties reviewed the results of the second quarter in the field of financial technologies and payments, as well as key trends and development directions. The focus was on introducing comprehensive regulation of crypto assets and service providers in this area, along with the development of relevant regulatory documents.
Strategic goals of the sector and measures to improve control tools to prevent fraud and illegal operations were also discussed.
