Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian believes that US attacks on the Islamic Republic contradict all norms of international law. He stated this at a meeting with Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
According to him, Iran demands respect for its legitimate rights in the framework of conflict resolution. Tehran does not seek war but will not yield to pressure.
"The opposing sides must recognize all the rights of the Iranian people in all areas and within the framework of international law. Iran does not desire anything beyond its legitimate rights," the Iranian president said.
Pezeshkian also drew attention to the possibility of restoring cooperation between Iran and Qatar. "We still believe that Iran and Qatar are two friendly and brotherly countries, and that the problems that have arisen can be resolved through mutual understanding," he noted.
It is recalled that Al Thani also held a meeting with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, and the sides discussed reducing tensions in the region.
