Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Tourism, said at a farewell dinner in honor of Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov and Kazakh Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin, who are completing their diplomatic missions in the country, that Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan have significant potential for expanding cooperation in tourism, trade, and cultural exchanges.
Sardar Yasir noted that these areas are important for the further development of fraternal and historical relations between the countries. According to him, Pakistan can gain additional economic and cultural benefits from closer interaction with the two countries, particularly through expanding tourism ties, promoting trade, and strengthening people-to-people contacts.
He also acknowledged the contributions of Farhadov and Kistafin to strengthening bilateral relations and deepening Pakistan's engagement with Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The ambassadors thanked the PM's aide for the warm reception and expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its support during their diplomatic missions.
