In Baku, road repairs are underway on approximately 110 streets and avenues.

As reported by FinFly.News citing the State Road Agency of Azerbaijan, the program aims to renew over 800,000 square meters of road surface. According to the agency, such large-scale repair works in the capital are being carried out for the first time.

To date, road restoration has been completed on 20 streets and avenues, work continues on 10 more sections, and the remaining sections will be repaired in stages.

The works are being carried out in summer because traffic intensity in the city decreases during holidays and vacations. This helps minimize temporary inconveniences for drivers and speed up repair works.

The main goal of the program is to bring road infrastructure in line with modern requirements, improve road safety, and ensure more comfortable movement for the capital's residents.
