Uzbekistan has taken first place globally in terms of venture capital investment growth, according to preliminary data from Dealroom.co's report for the second quarter and first half of 2026.
According to data published by IT Park, the volume of venture capital investments in the country increased by 539.7% compared to the same period last year. This figure is the highest among the countries included in the ranking.
Kenya ranked second with a 325.7% increase in venture capital investments, while Austria came third with a 307.7% rise.
The preliminary results indicate accelerated development of Uzbekistan's startup and venture ecosystem, as well as growing interest from international investors in the country's technology projects.
