The document provides for identifying potential areas of cooperation within the Petkim Master Plan project.

The agreement was signed during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Technip Energies Italy CEO Carlo Corso.

According to SOCAR, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in petrochemical projects, including the application of flexible feedstock solutions aimed at improving productivity and energy efficiency.

"Opportunities for Technip Energies Italy to participate in SOCAR's international projects and potential partnerships in green energy and decarbonization initiatives were also considered," the company said.

SOCAR and Technip Energies emphasized the importance of their long-standing cooperation and the need to find new areas of interaction to deepen commercial ties, the company noted.
