Siemens AG, Europe's largest industrial conglomerate, increased its net profit by 11% in the third quarter of fiscal 2027, with revenue up 7%.
In April-June, net profit rose to €2.27 billion from €2.05 billion a year earlier.
Operating profit at Siemens' industrial business (a key operational metric) increased by 25% to a record €3.52 billion.
Quarterly revenue stood at €19.756 billion, compared with €19.757 billion a year earlier. On a comparable basis, revenue grew 8%.
The consensus analyst forecast compiled by Siemens had projected net profit of €1.9 billion, industrial profit of €3.18 billion, and total revenue of €20.64 billion.
Order intake in the quarter rose 13% to a record €27.9 billion.
The company maintains its forecast of comparable revenue growth of 6-8% for the current fiscal year.
Chief Financial Officer Veronika Bienert also said that the company has received the necessary clarifications from tax authorities to proceed with the planned spin-off of Siemens Healthineers.
