The American leader made this statement while speaking at an event at the White House.
According to him, Washington continues to open new markets for American farmers, and Iran will soon become one of them.
"We are going to take part of their funds and spend them on the purchase of wheat, soybeans and corn. This process will start very soon," said the US President.
Trump also noted that opening the Iranian market will be another step in expanding sales opportunities for American farmers.
