The situation on the domestic petroleum products market has partially stabilized, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said following another meeting dedicated to fuel issues.
"We see that these measures are yielding results and the market is already partially stabilizing. In many regions, restrictions are being lifted, which is evident from the number of operating gas stations and the reduction in queues," Novak said in an interview with Vesti.
He stressed that the government pays special attention to supplying fuel to agricultural companies involved in the harvest.
"We once again confirmed the balances for each region and the volumes of supplies from specific oil companies to these regions," the deputy prime minister added.
According to Novak, regional operators will coordinate efforts to balance supply and demand between oil companies and farmers.
At the same time, the deputy prime minister noted that the situation remains tense in some regions:
"We discussed in a manual, targeted manner with companies how to fill these regions with petroleum products."
Another topic of the meeting was providing fuel to regions of the northern delivery.
"This is also a season with a short navigation period, so to ensure that northern facilities are supplied with aviation kerosene and winter diesel fuel, we discussed in detail the status, what volumes have already been shipped, and what additional supplies are needed," Novak said.
