Kyrgyz Ambassador to Mongolia Aibek Moldogaziev held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Nyamtaishiryn Nomtoibayar, during which the parties discussed the development of trade, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two countries. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

The interlocutors reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further development. The main focus was on the implementation of agreements reached during mutual visits at the highest level, as well as the execution of decisions of the fifth meeting of the Kyrgyz-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission, held on June 27, 2025, in Bishkek.

Separately, the parties discussed new prospects for expanding mutual trade that emerged after the entry into force on July 22, 2026, of the Interim Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Mongolia.

The Ambassador noted that for the effective implementation of the agreement, the relevant authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia need to intensify direct contacts, including for the prompt coordination of veterinary and phytosanitary requirements.

In turn, Nyamtaishiryn Nomtoibayar confirmed Mongolia's interest in further strengthening comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized the need to move from discussing initiatives to their practical implementation and expressed readiness to facilitate this work as co-chair of the Intergovernmental Commission.
