China has imposed counter-sanctions on the US and tightened export restrictions on the drone supply chain. This was reported by the South China Morning Post, citing a statement from China's Ministry of Commerce.

According to the statement, exports to the US of "drones, their key components, and related technologies" will now undergo "strict review on a case-by-case basis." The measures take effect immediately.

The ministry stated that they are necessary to "protect national security and fulfill China's international obligations in the field of non-proliferation."

On the same day, China's Ministry of Commerce added six American organizations to its countermeasures list, prohibiting Chinese organizations and individuals from cooperating with them. The ministry accused these entities of facilitating US sanctions against China, calling their actions "outrageous."
