On the revamped Google Images page, users will see a "dynamic, engaging gallery" of "For You" images, curated based on their interests and browsing history. Above the gallery, Google Images will display tabs that allow users to "return and continue exploring based on what inspires them." Specifically, users can save in "collections" ideas for vacation outfits or ways to set up a reading nook, which they can revisit later.

The updated Google Images design will roll out in the coming weeks on desktop computers in the US in English. To access the revamped page, users will need to sign in to their Google account.

Additionally, in the coming weeks, an AI image generation feature will be added to the "AI Overviews" section, allowing users to create original images based on text prompts without leaving the search page, using Google's Nano Banana models. This feature will be available in English for users in all regions where AI image creation is currently supported.
