The implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev No. 718 of June 3, 2019, "On measures to create the 'Government Cloud' (G-cloud) and provide cloud services," continues.
As part of the decree's implementation, the executive power of the city of Sumgayit, as well as the executive powers of the Salyan, Shamkir, Agsu, and Hajigabul districts, have migrated their information systems and IT resources to the Government Cloud.
These executive bodies have placed their IT resources in the Baku primary data center of AzInTelecom LLC. AzInTelecom provided the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) virtual server service, ensuring high availability of critical systems.
It should be noted that within the Government Cloud project, full or partial migration of IT systems of state institutions to AzInTelecom data centers is carried out. As a result, current IT costs are reduced, the performance of information systems is increased, secure and sustainable IT infrastructure is ensured, and round-the-clock monitoring is provided 24/7.
