Particular attention was paid to the results achieved in the project's implementation, as well as plans to expand production capacity, increase localization levels, and strengthen the enterprise's export potential.
In addition, the meeting participants considered prospects for developing production infrastructure, increasing export volumes, and creating a network of fast-charging stations for electric vehicles in the country.
Following the talks, the parties confirmed mutual interest in further strengthening long-term partnership and the successful implementation of the BYD project in Uzbekistan.
BYD is among the world's largest manufacturers of electric vehicles and new energy vehicles. Production of BYD brand cars in the Jizzakh region was launched in June 2024.
