Batumi Oil Terminal (BNT) in Georgia has resumed transportation of aviation kerosene after an eight-year hiatus.
According to FinFly.News, citing BNT, the terminal owned by KazTransOil JSC has become one of the key logistics hubs for transporting JET A1 aviation fuel from Europe to Kazakhstan via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor).
The first batch of 10,000 tonnes of JET A1 aviation fuel was delivered to the Batumi Oil Terminal via the Black Sea. The cargo is currently awaiting loading onto railway tankers for shipment to Kazakhstan.
BNT also handles transportation of crude oil, fuel oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, various types of kerosene, liquefied hydrocarbon gases, and other liquid petroleum products. In the first half of 2026, the volume of transshipment through BNT reached 725,000 tonnes.
