In January-May 2026, the value of goods sold and services provided to consumers in Azerbaijan reached 33.1 billion manats.

According to FinFly, citing a report from the State Statistics Committee, this represents a 4.5% increase in real terms compared to the same period last year.

In the consumption structure, 77.1% came from retail trade, 19.5% from paid services to the population, and 3.4% from public catering.

The value of goods sold and services provided by business entities operating in the non-state sector increased by 4.1% compared to the same period last year, reaching 31.5 billion manats, of which 41.1% was generated by individual entrepreneurs.

During the reporting period, the average consumer spent 644.5 manats per month, which is 57.9 manats more in nominal terms than a year earlier.
